Writers Festival Appearance

Stephen Dando-Collins appeared at the Byron Bay Writers Festival, at Byron Bay, New South Wales, from August 5 to 9. He spoke at four different events during the festival, and also conducted a 3-hour writers workshop, ‘Waking the Dead: Putting life into historical figures in fiction and non fiction’, on August 5.

On the morning of Thursday, August 13, the week following the Byron Bay Writers Festival, Stephen was live in-studio with Richard Fidler on ABC Radio, Brisbane, for an hour-long ‘Conversations’ program.

Release of Paperback Edition of The Inquest

The much anticipated release of the paperback edition of Stephen’s novel The Inquest takes place in the US and Canada.

Pasteur’s Gambit Short-listed for Literary Awards

On August 10, it was announced that Pasteur’s Gambit had been short-listed for the Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards. Winners will be announced in Melbourne on September 1. On August 21, the same book was shortlisted for the Queensland Premier’s Literary Awards, with the winners to be announced September 8.
